DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE:
The project will contribute to improving the public health of the population of Niamey Municipality N°1, from a food and environmental point of view.
A new slaughter area will be built that meets the minimum hygiene requirements of the processes and that can guarantee the production of healthy meat.
Training will be organized to correct the practices of the users and to strengthen the control of the veterinary inspectors.
A specific study will evaluate the best option in terms of disposal of liquid waste, potentially dangerous solids and the valorization of pre-stomach contents for the production of compost.
